In February of 2024, we hosted our very first saturday cafe - a casual gathering of friends in Vic’s apartment. Since then, we’ve been turning her home into a cafe once a month. What began as a small, intimate hangout has now grown into a larger community in Montreal and beyond, expanding into pop-ups and events.

So, you may be wondering: who are the baristas behind this project? We’re Victoria Lauren Da Silva and Kate McDevitt - party-friends-turned-best-friends, neighbours, and now cafe partners-in-crime. Driven by a love for community building and deep connection, we’ve intentionally partnered with some of our favourite brands, restaurants, and bars to bring good coffee, homemade pastries and warm energy to spaces we love. Basically, the saturday ritual we’ve been sharing with our friends since day one.

We like to keep things local - partnering with Montreal-based roasters who support small farmers, and crafting our baked goods and latte syrups with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced close to home.

Featured in a variety of international publications from The New York Times, House Beautiful, VICE, and Eater to local outlets like La Presse, CBC and The Main, saturday cafe is proving that meaningful community can be built one coffee at a time.
